Ellis has over 40 years’ experience in the logistics industry. After spending some 20 years in the third party logistics industry, interrupted by a stint in consulting with AT Kearney in the early 90’s, he has worked as a consultant for the last 23 years and has delivered major business change and logistics programmes and projects for some of the worlds’ leading brands such as The Disney Company, Bridgestone Tyres, Rentokil, Acco Brands Pepco and Costa Coffee. He has a sound background in online operations and automation having delivered projects in this area in recent years. Most recently a successful Autostore implementation and advising on others Autostore implementations.

Tom’s Warehouse Automation experience began in 1998 with Morris Material Handling. He worked all over the world for Dematic, TGW, Savoye and CEVA before becoming a consultant. Tom specialises in end-to-end project delivery for Warehouse automation. He covers all aspects of automation projects from contract negotiation (MF/1) through to transformation change for clients moving to automation solutions. He has overseen the implementation of many new technologies over the years, working with clients such as Urban Outfitters, M&S, JD Sports, Aramco, Unilever and Pfizer. His extensive background in system design, software and engineering provide value to all areas of warehouse project.
